Agricultural cover crops and no-till practices are proven to reduce phosphorous and algae blooms. These practices
must become mandatory if we are reduce algae blooms in Lake Erie. These practices are in-expensive or even lower in overall cost than current practices. Yields are the same. Local Conservation Authorities are trying to provide education on these practices and need stronger support. Thank you.
