I think that after looking at history and being able to learn from it (ie, Fukushima, Chernobyl) Nuclear is a vapid waste of time, energy and learning materials, as individuals need to be trained and have thier time and brain space taken up with knowing as much as they must know to ONLY POSSIBLY be able to prevent disasters from happening. This is an incredible waste. Instead of losing bodies full of potential  that could benefit this province and country in an environmentally friendly way that actually saves not hurts us, we should develop more programs in all highschool's so teens can see if they're interested in renewables and in what way; engineering, mechanics, operation, installation? Once more I refer to history where numerous individuals trained to deal with nuclear indeed could do nothing for the disasters of both Chernobyl and Fukushima but instead died. Not only is nuclear an uninspired development at this point in time it's also draining funds comparably so to wind and especially solar power. Considering all of the emergency safeties and protocols having to be placed in order to make people feel remotely comfortable with nuclear, all of the money that would have to be spent on finding new ways to give better protection, all of the time and possibly problems that could occur during this timely process shows what Nuclear really is, it's a seriously misguided endeavor.  Perhaps years and years ago it was different. Today is 2017 though and not years ago when little was released/no one really knew the dangers associated, at least not the comprehensive understanding of the dangers and incredible threat Nuclear poses at all times like we do now. We do not even know how to deal with nuclear in the future as it decomposes and this is very serious as shooting garbage into space is not viable an option. I really believe that the right decision will be made out of thought and consideration, which is to end nuclear in Ontario and instead develop solar energy to be able to serve everyone as it has been proven multiple times to be the best provider of energy as even on clouded days solar panels are able to make power. Also I believe leaving nuclear behind would garnish a new wave of young supporters of the future that is eco friendly and sustainable. Pointedly any financially interested parties in nuclear would be seeing their dollars lost not really understanding or taking in the fact the risk of disasters (ie, Chernobyl and Fukushima killed many, deformed many more and displaced many many many more) or the fact human life is worth more than any number on a computer or in a bank account. Please hear what I'm saying and choose the best choice: OUT WITH NUCLEAR! IN WITH RENEWABLE ENERGY!
