I strongly support Amendment…

I strongly support Amendment #405 of the Yonge-Eglinton Official Plan in particular Option #3 limiting the levels of future developments in the area east of Yonge and north of Eglinton to 15 or 20 storeys. There are already far too many too tall buildings in the area : they block the daylight and limit airflow. Sometimes it is difficult to breathe the space feels so constricted. There is now so little green space in an area which was known as a lovely residential area with lawns and small parks. There are numerous traffic problems with constant line-ups of cars. More levels will mean more people, more cars and put a further strain on local community facilities and amenities such as community centres, shopping centres and schools. Please pass Amendment #405, Option #3.
