I am pro development and embrace and welcome development that will increase prosperity and provide value to the City and the existing property owners. HOWEVER care must be taken to provide proper green spaces and setbacks from the road to provide a liveable space for all residents. We need more parks and green spaces. Mandatory green rooftops accessible to all is a good starting point. Next increase the setback distance from the roads and make the developers plant large mature trees and other flora and fauna. South Florida is beautiful and it is not just because of the weather. The cities and towns made the developers have large setbacks from the roads and plant trees. This is what we need.
