I totally support the adoption of Option 3 adopted by Toronto City Council as part of the Yonge-Eglinton Official Plan Amendment, the Yonge-Eglinton Secondary Plan and the Midtown in Focus Study!!!! This area is far too congested now, let alone when all existing construction is finished. Even now the infrastructure is inadequate e.g. Toronto School Board has posted as sign on a site at Redpath and Broadway to the effect that it cannot guaranty that children moving into this building will be able to attend a school in this neighbourhood. What will it be like when at least 9 other condos now under construction are completed??? There is no provision for parkettes or playgrounds. Toronto Council was shortsighted when it approved so many condos without provisos for infrastructure. Every day we suffer traffic tie-ups while the construction crews block half the road and we breathe the dust that is churned up by all the equipment. This has been going on for years and will continue for at least another 5 years. HELP!!!!!!
