Dear City Planners, I fully support the policies of TOCore that will establish a 25-year vision and goals for growing the Downtown. It directs growth, land use, parks and public realm, transportation, built form, community services and facilities, culture, housing, resiliency and water. I am tired of seeing the downtown core being turned into a concrete jungle of 70,80,90 storie condo developments, with little if any thought to improving the currently decaying infrastructure and the overcrowding of road and pedestrian traffic. We do not need to become another New York City or Hong Kong!!! With the increase in Toronto's population continuing to rise through immigration, families need growing green spaces, schools and community environments to be open and inclusive!
