As a long-time (over 30 years) resident and homeowner in the TO Core plan area, and with a degree in urban planning from Ryerson, I would like to voice my full support for the implementation of this comprehensive plan. Living across from Allan Gardens, we have a once-in-a lifetime chance to ensure it does not become overshadowed in the way that Central Park in New York has become. The development pressures on the plan area are extreme, and there needs to be clarity for both residents and developers on civic priorities and objectives.
