The 9 claims listed in this proposal are not located in the Mining Lands Administration System (MLAS) online viewer (accessed September 7, 2018), nor are they present in the downloadable claims datasets (as of September 6, 2018) from the Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines (MENDM) . As such it is impossible to provide a full comment on this proposal, since the claims are not located in either of the publically available MENDM datasets. According to this proposal, the claims are in the NOSEWORTHY township which is located in the Kesagami Caribou Range. Caribou are very sensitive to disturbance, and the cumulative disturbance in the Kesagami Caribou Range is already at 45% as per the recently released State of the Caribou Ranges - Cumulative Impacts Monitoring 2018 Estimates from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF). This level of disturbance is above the threshold (<35% disturbance) required for self-sustaining caribou populations.
