Commenting on the Terrapure…

Commenting on the Terrapure Imperial Street site.  The potential to add more chemicals to an
already long list is not acceptable to residents in such close proximity to the facility. 
Solvents, fertilizers, and acids do not belong in a neighbourhood that includes homes, a park,
schools, and a shopping district.  The risk to the environment, where air quality is already
unacceptable, along with the potential for spills or other contamination, is too high.  We know
that waste disposal is an issue, and we know that we need to deal with the damage we've done to the
planet; however, hazardous waste does not belong within the limits of any city, or at the very
least not within a residential area
