I studied Environmental Sciences in school and I am well aware of the importance of a healthy, biodiverse ecosystem for both our health, and the health of the planet.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why the people running the country/world ignore this fact more and more each day. For what?! To make a quick buck?
How about thinking about our future, and our children’s future. We should be doing everything we can to protect what wild species and habitat we have left, and not cut the policies/legislation that is in place to protect them.
Like wake the hell up people! The planet is in dire circumstances and we just keep making it worse.
Do not change the endangered species act to make it easier for cooperations etc. To break the rules, you should be making these rules harder to bend, so these species are safe from the harm done by these selfish monsters.
Like wake up!
