Oue federal and provincial legislation has been established to protect all species. It is our responsibility as stewards of the environment to ensure that we are affording all species this protection. The fact that species become endangered means that our activities have been destructive and have not provided the necessary protection. We must do a better job strengthening this protection rather than weakening it. The people of this Province do not support "Pay to Slay" legislation.
