In general, I think that all environmental protection laws should become tougher and more strict over time, as we learn to become better care takers of our planet. I don't think these changes adequately protect wildlife, instead they have loosened the rules to make it easier for industry to do things that will be harmful to wildlife.
Please make protect our planet, and our wildlife! Once a species is gone it will most likely never return! Even if that species exists somewhere else, that doesn't make it okay to wipe it out from one area.
The current Ontario government is trying to cut red tape to help businesses, but that red tape exists for a reason! It is there to protect the people and the environment that make up our province.
Please stop cutting red tape, and instead protect our province!
