What a fantastic idea. As of now I see no rhyme or reason as to how land has been designated protected or not, it's as if someone drew a line on a map blindfolded. Higher population means we will need new land to build on close to densely populated cities. Keep the areas that need protecting protected but let development occur on the ones that don't scientifically need it.
