Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing , yet Growth Plan policies also direct growth within the settlement areas to areas with existing or planned transit, with a priority on higher order transit.
There is limited transit infrastructure planned for many of the Primary Settlement Areas and outer-ring DGAs. Why then are they planned for the highest densities? Should areas without planned transit, which are otherwise to be allocated growth within the hierarchy of settlement areas, be allowed for lower density targets in light of their limited transit?
6.Updates of housing forecasts - the Current LNA does not consider updates of the housing and employment forecasts to take into account new and updated information.
