In my 18 years experience as a lodge owner and bear baiter, placing bait 30 meters from a road or trail is MUCH more reasonable that the current 200 meter regulation. Hunter / Baiter safety is a main concern of mine personally, as I feel is in my responsibility to be certain of my Guest Hunter's safety at all times. With a 30 meter distance - it is MUCH more professional for me to meet my Hunter at the "mouth" of the walking trail and the road in the dark.
I would be very appreciative of the regulation being changed immediately form 200 meters to 30 meters.
Thank you in advance for a professional, reasonable decision.
