I oppose this proposal. It's short-sighted and pandering.
1. Baiting bears to within 30 metres of recreational trails is dangerous for other users of those trails.
2. Baiting bears at such choose ranges to recreational trails is dangerous to dogs using those trails.
3. Allowing people to hunt said baited bears within a 30-metre proximity can result in unintended injury to other users by the hunters.
