Moving the black bear bait placement limit from from rights of way and trails from 200m to 30m seems extreme. This is just 100 ft from public trails! Do you really want bears to come within 100 ft of public trails, where people walk with their families and dogs? Is that really safe? To me it is downright reckless. A more reasonable change would be to move the limit from 200m to 100m. Moving the limit to 30m is just too extreme.
