I support the extension of Section 55 ESA Regulation as I am all for saving Endangered species. I think it would be more reasonable to take a longer extension as it would be complex and more effective. After the 45 day review period the extension should be put in place to overcome the chance of expiry in July of the current Section 55 regulation. If this becomes inadequate it can be very catastrophic to wood supply, mill closures, contractors out of business and First Nation investments in the Forestry economy with severe impact to the communities due to loss of sustainable employment. The impact on this could be young families growing having to move with job loss, business that will close due to no economy and communities becoming ghost towns.
