Considering the widespread knowledge about the serious threats to wildlife and their natural habitats from pollution and industrial development, I am continually amazed and disgusted that our decision-makers need reminding to take remedial action. They should be proactive in providing protection instead of requiring prodding.
How much more endangered must our birds, animals and fish become, before all Ontario governments of whatever stripe, make their protection a priority? Immediate action is mandatory.
