I am a long time logger and contractor who employs several people in the forestry business. I have been made aware that new environmental proposals could have a very serious impact on our livelihoods in Northwestern Ontario. I feel that it is crucial for the government to extend the Section 55 regulation for 5 years until a proper solution is found to protect our jobs. I urge the government to consider the ramifications of this action and the serious negative impact it would have on our communities.
