Too many of our natural resources have been abused and exploited to the point where future generations will not be able to enjoy them. We need to be stewarts of the world around us. We need clean accessible drinking water, not water from a bottle, not treated water but clean water. The taking of this much water will have a huge impact on a major source of that source of water, a source that supplies drinking water to thousands of people. Wells will be affected causing how many people to be forced to spend thousands of dollars to find a new source of water. Farms will be affected, where do they get the water they need for livestock and for crops? Food is expensive and artificial, naturally grown food will be affected. How do we as a generation look at the future generations and tell them we were not good stewarts so they get to clean up the mess? Look at the environmental impact before moving forward. A cumulative environmental study needs to be done by an outside agency, not local and not associated with dufferin aggregates. Lets protect what little clean water and this important recharge atea from becoming only a memort [Original Comment ID: 212276]
