It seems that Bill 108 is proposing a new revenue tool, "Community Benefit Charge" which has never been used before and isn't guaranteed to properly serve the community in terms of bringing in appropriate funds according to growth. The funding model for municipalities for things like parks and rec should be carefully considered, with full input, consultation and agreement from municipalities themselves before overhaul of the model. I think that changing the funding model without proper revenue guaranteed and without the support of municipalities is a serious error and I do not support it.
