Comment
On behalf of the Township of Oro-Medonte, our comments on the proposal are summarized in staff report DS2019-065 (attached) that was endorsed by Council at their meeting on the evening of May 22, 2019 and are the municipalities comments regarding ERO 019-0016, ERO 019-0017, and ERO 019-0018.
Overall while the Township of Oro-Medonte is supportive of opportunities to streamline the approval process and to seek cost efficiencies, the Township would appreciate further opportunities to fully understand the potential implications of the proposed Amendments by having an opportunity to review the draft regulations.
The staff report (attached) details some areas that require further clarification/detail from the Province in regards to the proposed Amendment or proposed regulations that would be of assistance to the Township.
We look forward to seeing further information from the Province regarding the Proposed Amendments, and specifically the proposed regulations to fully understand the implications on the Township of Oro-Medonte.
