This is an opportunity to do something amazing: to become a model province for collaboration.
Conservation and environmental authorities are staffed by scientists who must be heavily involved in the planning process because land use depends on understanding geography, water, and seasonal impacts on the environment.
Rampant development is not attractive when the environment that the developent inhabits is unhealthy or unappealing due to a lack of natural features.
People don't want development. Developers do!!
Citizens want green spaces, places to play and enjoy.
This is a chance to have various organizations working together to create beautiful living spaces/homes.
The most trusted level of government is municipal. Municipalities should have a greater say in conservation with an opportunity to have all conservation authorities working together.
When you have a premier who is only interested in catering to one segment of the population, and not listening to others, you have a short-sited individual and party that won't be around long!
