Please stop destroying the many organizations that preserve what makes Ontario great...What draws
everyone to this province.... whether it's to see the heritage of Ontario, to buy a preserved home,
there are people who appreciate heritage and it's a tourist draw... There are many people around the world that want to see the history of Canada and Ontario especially... why not promote heritage
to draw in tourists who benefit many touch points in an area that benefit the gov't through spending to
see historical buildings.... People who purchase these homes and properties are not idiots...they understand when they buy them that the restrictions in place...there are so few of these tourist draws
left in Ontario... protecting them should be obvious to draw people to visit here...
Making our homes all the same by allowing new development means that you lose that tourist market,
you lose those jobs in restoration, etc... very short sighted to eliminate this marked... there are home
builders and trades that are based on restoring heritage and maintaining them... by only focusing on
new development you will eliminate this job source and economic boost.... Who wants to see a new
home built in 2019?? No one..
