Clean, swimmable, water and a clean, soft, sandy beach, along with the treed park areas for picnics, is what draws visitors to Wasaga Beach. Residents are also drawn to live in Wasaga Beach for those same reasons. There is an extremely high property tax rate for residents who own beach front, and others who reside nearby. The vast majority of revenue generated for the town, it's business owners, and your division in the Ministry, has EVERYTHING to do with an inviting beach and usable parks.
Your new plan must ensure that improving the recreational appeal of Wasaga Beach must be a top priority, and adequate resources be made available to achieve that.
