The changes are ridiculous. The change from 200 metres to 30 metres is a significant change and does not consider any environmental assessment or justification for it. A more modest change would make more sense and would better serve every interest if stepped changes took place with an assessment of the impact after each distance reduction. A fair analysis without bias should be undertaken before any changes but most specifically this proposal. The chances of bringing the bear population closer to urban areas is a realistic, unsafe and undesired consequence of this change. It is a radical change!
