The only ones confused about rules around “distances from right of way” are hunters who desire to shoot bears from easier access points.
Hunting is no “sport” when baiting is involved. Bringing bear baits closer to public access areas, puts general users at greater risk for conflicts.
I do not support this change. It is not in the best interest of non-hunting public, nor is it better for bears, who may come into contact with humans when attracted to nearby bait stations.
