I believe that the Moose season needs to be cancelled for several years to get the population back up. If you are an ethical hunter like my entire family is you want what is best for the animal populations. A lot of money and time go into hunting a moose, it is something you want to teach your children, but how is that possible if the moose population continues on this path. My family goes out every year for the archery season, we all love to have a moose each year but right now we know that is not possible. We all agree that the moose hunt needs to be cancelled or put on hold for several years to allow the population to get to a point where it is ethical to hunt them again. Shooting a cow is not only killing that animal but all the calves she could of produced in future years.

As an ethical hunter, canceling is the only option to allow the moose population to get back up to where it needs to be for the animal and for hunters.
