These comments align with and are supplementary to a resoluti instead of the proposed 2-year extension. In addition, the County of Renfrew supports the establishment of an independent panel of credible stakeholders directly affected in their day-to-day lives by the management of Crown land forests who will look at the facts of the matter to derive a long-term solution. Lastly, it is hoped that the Government of Ontario move forward with these recommendations and decisions are made in a timely matter and shared before March 30, 2018.
