I support the 3 tag system of Bull, Cow/calf and, Calf, with the calf tag extending for the whole hunting season.

Moose licence without a tag is supported.

Preference point system:
I do not support this. I feel the current group process is working effectively and this proposal may only benefit people interested in applying individually. Hunters generally hunt in a group! It is and has been a family tradition for many generations. If this is proposal is to go through, I feel that Northern Ontario residents hunting in Northern Ontario units should be given an extra point or half point and that point carried over for future years. This could further be broken down to MNRF Regions (northwest, north east instead of 1-42).

The choice of not accepting the tag if granted is great and would support ethical hunting standards of a “Group”. However, if the hunter should be given the chance to not accept the tag through out the primary, and 2nd chance allocation (including second and third choice).

How would you address a tag transfer for people hunting an legitimate hunting group? – says exceptional circumstances for tag transfers?

Hunting party distance should remain at 5km – as you must be contactable anyways.

Agreed with 10 member restriction of party hunting size.
Agreed to eliminate opportunities for non-resident land owners.
