I live in Meaford Ontario. I used to enjoy hunting but have ceased to do so unless the target population is healthy or needs to be reduced for its own good. Moose populations in Ontario are in trouble. There should be a complete moratorium on hunting calves. The recent World Wildlife Fund report on the alarming decline of wildlife should be a wakeup call. This should be especially true for those who are responsible for wildlife management.
With respect to wolves I believe the Algonquin wolf is at risk. There should not be any hunting of this wolf.
