Ontario and had (and incentivized) sprawling development for much too long. This is dangerous, it makes the Province more vulnerable, less competitive, makes people's lives harder and destroys that natural world that is our inheritance and our legacy. This PPS takes us in the wrong direction by further incentivizing sprawl. We need to do the real work to change how we use land. No new land should be developed, we should be more efficient with the land resources we are already using so wastefully.
