These are my thoughts…

These are my thoughts regarding the review of the Provincial Policy Statement Review:

We are at a time of global climate crisis. Our top priority needs to be to plan and build our communities to be low emission, and to be ready for flooding, extreme weather events, heat, and wildfires. We need more than ever to protect the health of our water and our ecosystems. Good land use planning is recognized as essential to avoiding catastrophic climate change.

In summary please keep the focus tightly on adaptation and mitigation.
