As a member of the Ontario Archaeological Society, I would like to affirm that archaeological sites are an essential part of the environment, and that they are worth the cost that it takes to protect them. Although I'm not from Ontario, and I cannot provide a concrete example of heritage increasing the value of a local, Ontario-based business, I have been to the new halls at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec, and loved them. I would be happy to spend the money again to re-visit them. They provided me with an excellent idea of the cultural heritage of our country, beautifully presented.
