With Sudbury’s dramatic history of mining related impacts and incredible recovery we must protect what is the only intact remnant of a mature red pine forest st wolf lake. The Sudbury basin is rich with mineral deposits and there is no need to disturb Wolf Lake when so many other deposits are available elsewhere. As Sudbury serves as a global model of how sustainable mining and environment can coexist, allowing development at Wolf Lake would be shameful contradiction to 40 years of restoration efforts and we would lose credibility internationally. Would Lake needs to be protected. Mining rights should not be approved for this site.
