While I am in full support of expanding environmentally protected areas, the rights of claim holders must also be respected. If we want to appropriate environmentally sensitive private property (leases or fee simple), lets start with some wetland areas along the Great Lakes! The area in question here is no doubt beautiful, and may well be worth protecting on aesthetic grounds, but is it really environmentally sensitive?
