Forests, sequester carbon, add calmness and majesty to our lives, while providing habitat for wildlife. So all forests are important, but old growth forests like Wolf Lake, never cut and providing the biggest contiguous forest in North America, gives us a special gift.
This forest provides a different source of history for our continent and contains some of the oldest living things in North America. It will provide an insight into our world that is irreplaceable.
This forest is accessible for eco tourism, that will provide a back to nature experience that is unparalleled in our world. Safe, secure and accessible.
It must not be opened for development. We have lots of places in Canada available for mining, and lumbering. The value in Wolf lake is in it entirety not in bits and pieces.
North America, Canada, Ontario and Sudbury will benefit in untold ways, in the future we do not yet see. by having this example of what was; in our world. It cannot be duplicated or replaced. Please Keep this piece of tranquility and beauty safe. Make Wolf Lake a part of our provincial park, a contiguous old growth forest for our future.
