Please take into consideration our collective voice, asking to leave Wolf Lake as it is. I oppose the issue of a Flag Resources Mineral exploration permit.
To fully appreciate the importance of Wolf Lake's old growth forest, one has to have a relationship with it. Canoeing is one way, and a traditional Ceremony with a First Nation would open up a new perspective on how to create that relationship. Though I'm not a First Nation individual, I do attend and participate in Ceremonies. Standing in the forest would alter one's being, without having to do anything else.
Let's protect the sacredness of this parkland, and not open it up for mining activity. It took decades/centuries to achieve this 'status' of an old growth forest, lets not destroy it in a few years.
This conversation touches on all the current issues, ie climate change, corporate greed, and many more... the damage is irreversible, think about that....
