Protect Mono is a local community organization with a membership of 200 households focused on protection of the cultural and natural heritage and environment in the Town of Mono in Dufferin County.

Several proposed policies depend on further guidelines to be developed. It is impossible to know whether these are positive or negative without at least hints or a summary of the directions the guidelines will go.

We are deeply concerned by both the changes to the aggregate section, in particular removing vertical zoning which places the financial burden of peer review onto the municipality rather than on the proponent where it belongs.
