As a property owner in the Amalguin highlands area I am concerned about the logging that is currently underway in the area. We see increased heavy truck access, which leads to poorer air quality and speeds up the deterioration of our, already, poor quality of road and highway networks. We also see a reduction in wildlife because of the clear cutting and loss of habitat for animals to live in. This also is very unsightly. I go north to escape from every day life in the city, not to see increased evidence of it. The rights of property owners need to be respected by not allowing any logging in areas that cause any if the issues I have mentioned above.
