1 ) This moratorium is essentially an extended monopoly for permit holders who received permits prior to 2016 - Not that I support more water being used, but it does seem unfair
2) Even with the $500 surcharge per million liters from 2017, the fees seem tiny. Spread out among the bottles it is small fractions of a cent for the product.
3) It is particularly offensive that there are permit holders operating next to areas where people are living with boil water advisories.
These are not particular about the moratorium action (except point # 1) but I hope that they can be addressed in the future as the regulations and permit process is rexamined.
