Please shut down the Pickering nuclear station.
The danger it poses for thousands of people as it ages is unacceptable. Plus it has brought up electriciy prices for us, and it is harder and harder to keep up with all the higher prices. This is surplus energy that we sell at a loss. It makes zero sense.
Ontario needs to make more efforts to adopt sustainable and renewable energy sources. Keeping the Pickering nuclear station is impeding this progress.
