Hello,
There is just NO benefit to the citizens living in the surrounding areas to the proposed gravel pit and asphalt business.

Why put a gravel and asphalt business adjacent to a village, where so many people live?

Traffic would be an absolute nightmare in regards to 80,000 + trips per year of heavy diesel trucks on our country roads, the noise, air and water pollution, the vibrations will be a health hazard!

Our wells will suffer and Hofstetter Lake, an ancient Kettle Lake with an abundance of wild life is at stake.

To allow another gravel pit and asphalt business would be a real environmental crime, because this our protected water re-charge area !

Who will take full responsibility for: Hofstetter Lake, wetlands, wells and their water levels sinking?Noise, vibrations, air and water pollution plus the traffic hazard of additional 80,000 heavy truck on the road per year? Who will reimburse every property owner surrounding this pit for the 25% + LOSS of property value ?

Please STOP the gravel pit and asphalt business ! The families living in Shingletown and surrounding areas should be the governments biggest concern with protecting our water re-charge area that serves the Region of Waterloo !
