At this time we are in, with climate crisis looming is, it really a good idea to open up spring permanently while fall is still open the way it is? Bears are slow in the spring and starving and this seems like a very bad idea. It’s harder to make changes when something is made permanent.
How responsible are the hunters to make sure that there are no young/cubs ?
I do not see a need for this. Bears are extremely important for bio diversity. I encourage you to simply google “bear scat garden”
