I disagree with the direction of this proposal. I feel that it will make it easier for polluters to pollute and that our lakes will suffer, especially in regards to algae blooms in our lakes. Instead of making it easier to drain their toxic drainage, our government should help ensure that what ever toxicity is produced gets treated on location before being released. Our biodiversity is priceless and valuing savings for farmers by cutting short on the protection afforded to these species is definitely leaving Ontario the loser and is a shame.
