Ontario should set a target of moving to 100% renewable energy by 2050 and instead of increasing reliance on nuclear infrastructure, should decommission existing nuclear facilities safely to ensure a future free from environmental compromise and jeopardy for subsequent generations.
Ontario should harness wind and solar options and pay full value for conservation kilowatts, and continue to partner with Quebec to import lower cost power from renewable resources such as water.
