I am appalled that any black bear hunt is even being considered. Are we going back in time? Canada is a civilized country with no room for these primitive acts of violence perpetrated on animals. Internationally we already have a poor animal conservation track record and this will certainly not elevate our status. I believe we need a change in our governing party that is more in tune with what Canadians expect and stop catering to a tiny minority who would participate in this atrocity.
