At at time when we are in the middle of a climate crisis and populations of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians have, on average, declined in size by 60 percent in just over 40 years (WWF stat from 2018), this is not the time for the government to allow a spring bear hunt. This must not happen.
We are connected to nature and wildlife and we must do everything in our power to reverse preserve the remaining wildlife in Canada and around the world.
