I fully object to the proposed Hallman Pit for the following reasons -
The proposed Hallman Pit will violate the Climate Emergency Declaration of Wilmot Township
It makes no sense to have a gravel pit in a Source Water Protection Area
Noise and dust will create severe health effects
The hundreds of thousands of truck trips per year will create traffic hazards for pedestrians, cyclists, school buses, agricultural machinery and local drivers.
I urge our government to stop this proposal completely.
